Polis Education Program
- We have nearly 20 years of experience providing geospatial technology education with an emphasis on geographic information systems (GIS). We have successfully trained thousands of individuals representing hundreds of public, private, academic, and not-for-profit organizations with a wide array of interests.
- We possess expertise in a wide variety of areas that empowers us with the ability to support the educational needs of many different audiences. This expertise is derived from a combination of our own talented professional staff and from the range of experts in many different areas that are found both at our university and within our many partner organizations.
- Our instructional staff is composed of experts with extensive experience not only in the instruction of geospatial technologies, but also with the application of those technologies thru system design and implementation, application development, analysis, and more. This experience is conveyed in the classroom thru realistic examples that focus on practical applications of technology.
